Hope’s Animal Kingdom Cat Rescue was started in 2021 by Laura Zurawski and her family after the loss of their beloved rescue dog, Hope. Although we help dogs, our main focus is on the overlooked cat population and decreasing the number of feral cats/kittens in the community. We rescue, spay and neuter, vaccinate, and try to find homes for animals in need. Those that do not find homes will remain here at the rescue. We partner with local shelters to help decrease time cats and kittens remain in the shelter and ultimately end euthanasia due to overcrowding.

WE RESCUE, WE HEAL, WE ADOPT
Pre-Adoption and Early-Age Spay/ Neuter
There is an overwhelming number of unwanted and abandoned animals in the United States that end up in shelters. Many of these animals are euthanized before being given a second chance. To decrease the number of animals entering shelters, Hope’s Animal Kingdom supports the pre-adoption spay/neutering of all shelter animals, including early-age spay/neuter. Furthermore, Hope’s Animal Kingdom will do its best to spay/neuter all animals in its care before adoption.
Trap-Vaccinate-Neuter-Return (TVNR)
Hope’s Animal Kingdom also supports Trap-Vaccinate-Neuter-Return (TVNR), the humane approach to handling community cat populations. It protects cats’ lives and is well-founded to help control the cat population. TNR enhances the lives of cats, tackles community concerns, and stops overpopulation. TNR helps outdoor cats and people co-exist in our communities. We trap feral cats, bring them to be sterilized by a licensed veterinarian then release them back into the community where they were found or to a safe environment where we provide food, water and shelter.
